Un parco pubblico creato negli anni Ottanta in una zona adiacente il centro storico di Amilly che viene ripensato e riprogettato in conseguenza del mutato contesto urbanistico. Quello che era nato come semplice area verde deve oggi fornire servizi diversificati al quartiere e alla città. Viene creato un grande stagno, nuovi percorsi, aree gioco, strutture didattiche e numerose opere d’arte trovano posto all’interno del parco.

Il tema del progetto è quello del paesaggio agricolo tipico della regione. Alcuni elementi tradizionali del contesto rurale vengono reinterpretati e dotati di nuove funzioni: i sentieri in trincea, le rocce affioranti, i pontili in legno, i boschetti naturali contrapposti agli impianti di tipo agricolo diventano la chiave di lettura dell’intero intervento. In questa ottica è prevista l’introduzione di un frutteto didattico dedicato ai frutti antichi.

A public park created in the eighties in an area adjacent to the historic center of Amilly that is rethought and redesigned as a result of the changed urban context. What was born as a simple green area must now provide diversified services to the neighbourhood and the city. A large pond is created, new paths, playgrounds, educational facilities and numerous works of art are placed within the park.

The theme of the project is the agricultural landscape typical of the region. Some traditional elements of the rural context are reinterpreted and equipped with new functions: the paths in the trenches, the emerging rocks, the wooden piers, the natural groves opposed to the agricultural type of plants become the key to the entire intervention. In this perspective, the introduction of an educational orchard dedicated to ancient fruits is planned.
